A cheaper way to go to NYC or other big cities is by a train. It might be a little faster than a bus or other types of transportation but it is more expensive. Another problem that someone can run into is the train is just like a car. It can turn into a long ride. Traveling to a far distance by a plane is the most practical and effective. But this all depends on your final destination.
